5solas.org is operated by Brandan Kraft who lives in St. Louis, Missouri with his wife Angie and their little boy Cole. Brandan graduated from the University of Missouri-Rolla with a degree in computer science, and Angie has a degree in Music.  Brandan also highly esteems the following authors, theologians, and preachers for varying reasons: Bob Higby, Don Fortner, John Calvin, Martin Luther, William Twisse, Arthur Pink, Gordon Clark, John Robbins, George Ella, Stanley Phillips, Gilbert Beebe, Silas Durand, Augustus Toplady, J.C. Philpot, William Gadsby, William Huntington, Greg Elmquist, Peter Meney, James Hervey, William Cowper,  John Gill, and others.

Our emphasis on salvation would be called Hyper-Calvinistic.  We are pro double predestination, anti common grace, anti well-meant/free/sincere offer, anti duty-faith, and pro supralapsarianism. Brandan became a Calvinist in March 2000. Sometime afterwards He was converted to the Gospel of Free Grace and experienced salvation accomplished in Christ. He started 5solas.org so that other believers can come to a better understanding of God's grace. He also desires to see more people come to a better understanding and love for systematic theology and biblical practice.   Brandan goes by the nickname "Darth Gill" on the discussion forum.
